INTRODUCTION: FVR was established in 2001 under the business name of B&D Enterprises. In 2006, the business name changed to Fair Valley Repair. Currently Dennis Frey, his wife Jennifer, technician Scott Luck, and technician Travis Meinholz operate FVR out of Sauk City, Wisconsin USA.

BACKROUND: Dennis Frey attended and graduated from Madison Area Technical College and received an associate degree in Diesel Technology in 1992. During that time he was employed by Diesel Injection Service (Windsor, WI), a diesel fuel injection and turbocharger repair and distribution facility. There, Dennis began working as a diesel fuel injection technician and evolved through the company as a trainer, technical support manager, and diesel service manager. In 2004, Dennis was awarded the Henry Ortner Jr. Memorial Technical Award. This annual award is presented for outstanding technical contributions to The Association of Diesel Specialists, the Diesel Engine, and Fuel Injection Industry. After 15 years of employment, Dennis resigned from DIS, pursued his dream, and established FVR. Scott Luck also attended and graduated from Madison Area Technical College and received an associate degree in Diesel Technology. Before Scott’s employment with FVR in August, 2007, he was employed as a diesel fuel injection technician for 13 years. Travis Meinholz is currently attending the Diesel Technology Program at Madison Area Technical College.

CURRENT BUSINESS: Construction on a new renovated office and shop was completed August, 2007. FVR is now a diesel repair facility specializing in tractor and truck diesel fuel injection, fuel supply, engine building, engineering, and consultation. We also service, repair, and overhaul original equipment (stock) diesel fuel injection systems, and diesel engines. Our service bay activity includes agricultural tractor, construction, and diesel pickup truck diagnostic and repair.
